Many consumers consider selling their home directly but eventually turn to a REALTOR®. Savvy home sellers realize they need the expertise in pricing their home, arranging and staffing open houses and coordinating with other professionals in the sales process. Savvy home buyers realize the resources they have are second to none.
All real estate licensees are not created equal. In fact, only about half of all real estate agents are REALTORS® (the top half, in our not-so-humble opinion). By proudly displaying the REALTOR® logo on their business card or marketing and sales literature, they’re telling you that they’re committed to treat all parties fairly, that they subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics and that they’re one of “us.”
